Love your video! My habiscus roselle grew about 6 or 7 feet tall in 7 months, they grow really fast! Heavy winds broke a lot of the plant tho. I'll post an updated video later this week.

Looks like herbicide drift from your neighbor. Could be something else... nematodes, virus or a critter chewing on the roots... but if he uses weedkillers on his lawn, that spot looks downhill from his land.
Your other cranberry hibiscus looks amazing.

They really taste nice...do you think the area where the first plant is holds too much water?

Several different ways sometimes with rooting harmone powder and directly in pot with soil water Daily sometimes with an empty seasoning bottle cut so it will go around plant fill with soil water often sometimes with just a plastic grocery bag tied around the plant put in soil keep moist experiment experiment what works in the Louisiana purchase may or may not work in South Carolina v/v but plants do evolve aka new varieties/strains Mendalian Law of heredity and beyond!!!

Could be high infestation of nematodes or some other pest, roots maybe too wet.I have a pepper plant kept doing same thing cloned it parent plant died cloned took off prettier than a new born heifer.small peppers on it now will clon again it will over winter as long as it don't freeze.
